brigade, division, corps, army, and army detachment commander, with the name of
the Waffen-SS officer, post, SS number, Nazi Party number, date of birth and
date of the last promotion. In some cases some of the dates of birth and SS
number may be missing or non-existent (for example, in the case of foreign
volunteers, especially the non-Nordic volunteers). But this list constitutes the
most complete listing for the Waffen-SS command roster as of March 1 1945. A

the history of the German and collaborationist forces in northern Slovenia,
which had been annexed by Germany. This story is not the one dealing with the
Slovenian Domobran, but with the Gestapo / SD / Gendarmerie formations
and their indigenous forces. Dozens of never before published photos. Noted WW2
military artist, Darko Pavlovic has done the color plates for the uniforms!
