280 pages, full color dust jacket. The work is a facsimile reproduction of the 1947 U.S. Army study by General Wilhelm Krichbaum, who was the Wehrmacht Feldpolizeichef during World War II. The second part of the study deals in part with the various Secret Field Police units which operated in the region of the Ukraine and southern Russia. In addition, this second part (written by author Antonio Munoz) deals with the German security divisions which served in this region of the USSR. A lot of new material, drawn principally from captured microfilm on these security divisions, the Secret Field Police units and even the German Order Police battalions and regiments which also operated in this part of the Russian Front.
